About

Shireen Bojja, MSEE, MBA, MSEM, is an award-winning entrepreneur, public safety power electronics expert, researcher and author with a distinguished career in electrical engineering. Through her company, Voltek Ace, Shireen serves small businesses in the electrical engineering industry in the United States. She also provides expert guidance in design, systems engineering, manufacturing, safety certification and supply chain, to SMEs and large organizations both domestically and internationally.

Shireen earned her Master's in Electrical Engineering from California State University-Fresno with a focus on power electronics and RF subsystems, as well as a separate Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resource and a Master's in Engineering Management with a focus in Systems Engineering. She has multiple credentials, including Certified CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) educator, Certified Java and C coder, Certified Oracle Database Developer, and Certified BABA (Build America Buy America) manufacturer,
She has been awarded the Global Recognition Award 2025 for her contributions to Electrical Engineering. Voltek Ace has been awarded for its contribution to the manufacturing sector in California in 2024 "Made in California". As a recognized thought leader in the field, Shireen has been featured in major media outlets, including Forbes. She is also a published author in various international publications.

She collaborates with contract manufacturers and small business owners in the electrical engineering sector, contributing to the industry as well as the economic growth of the State of California. Her public safety power electronics designs cater mainly to the ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) Traffic market, and she has implemented many successful projects across various metropolitan areas. She has expanded her public safety niche to medical, semiconductor, oil & gas and water management projects.

Previously, Shireen held a Product Manager position at Enterprise QA Labs, an automated solutions company for product quality management. She also played a key role as a Hardware Electronics Engineer at Trimble Navigation and CTCT (Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies) as a significant contributor to projects such as MS992+ GPS for Caterpillar dozers and 900Mhz radio, apart from marine and geospatial survey projects.

Shireen previously held intern positions at Visteon, a billion-dollar company and global leader in automotive electronics. She also interned at TEAM (TITANIUM EQUIPMENT ANODE MANUFACTURING COMPANY) a manufacturer of exotic metals used in space shuttles and pressure vessels.

In a successful career spanning over 12+ years she has significantly contributed to electrical engineering. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration to combine research methodologies with practical business applications. Her mentoring programs as a peer advisor at Fresno State to ITS traffic industry have produced a substantial industry impact. Her vision is to keep the electrical industry at the forefront of technological progress, an Industry 5.0 approach with a focus on green technology and sustainability, both technological and environmental.
